Claremore Christian Lady Warriors - 2020 Basketball Preview Feature - Presented by Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma

GIRLS
Coach: Katie Schulze
2019-20 Record: 15-1
In her tenth season as Claremore Christian, head coach Katie Schulze returns two of her top players and believes this team is on a mission. “This years team will return our two leading scorers from the 2019-20 season. The girls are on a mission to win the state title after losing by one at the buzzer last season,” said coach Schulze. Hannah Schulze (5-2, Jr.) will start at point guard giving the Lady Warriors someone who can average 19 points, 10 assists and 10 steals a game. Her production is key to the overall success of the program. Add Kaylee Blair (6-0, Sr.) at forward and you have a winning formula. Blair added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game last year to go with her 3.0 blocks. Jaxcie McKinney (5-10, So.) could be the X-factor this season. The sophomore averaged 6.0 points and 5.0 rebounds but should add more on the offensive end of the court this year. Drea Montalbano (5-6, Sr.) will play forward where she can cause some chaos on the defensive end using her speed to disrupt opponents flow. Katelyn Fisher (5-3, Fr.) is a newcomer to watch, especially on defense. SOMETHING TO WATCH – Hannah Schulze is one of the best point guards in Oklahoma. Her ability to see the court is amazing. She would start at most large schools given the opportunity.
