Ketchum Warriors - 2020 Basketball Preview Feature - Presented by Northeast Tech

Boys
Coach: Sam Banker
2019-20 Record: 7-16
Last season did end the way that head coach Sam Banker wanted. But as he enters his fifteenth season leading the Warriors, Banker says he expects a lot from his young squad. “We are extremely young but also talented,” he said. “Our leading scorer from last year will be a sophomore and there is a deep and talented freshman class behind him.” Quentin Williams (5-11, So) will play point guard for the Warriors. As a freshman, he averaged a team high twelve points per game, as well as four rebounds and three assists. He was forced into some early playing time which forced him to grow up a lot. Playing at forward will be Haydn Rogers (5-10, Jr), who had 8.5 points and six boards per game last season. He is also a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end of the court. Cody Brown (6-1, Fr), Casey Collins (5-9, Sr), Brooks Smith (6-1, Sr), and John Wilhite (6-3, Jr) will all be called on to be key contributors this season. Other players to watch are Rowdy Mullin (5-9, Fr) and Jesse Woodward (5-10, Jr). SOMETHING TO WATCH - Williams was the leading scorer for the Warriors last season and will be an impact player this season.
