Coach: Nathan Smith

2019-20 Record: 16-10

The Mustangs will see a complete overhaul of their starting five from last year’s team taht went 16-10. Head coach Nathan Smith says that even with all the changes, he is still excited to see what happens this season. “We are replacing all five starters and six of our top eight players from last season,’ he said. “We have some players that are excited to have the opportunity to continue the growth of our program.” Josh Garrison (6-3, Jr) has had some big games for the Musgants since his freshman year. He continues to grow and has gotten stronger over the past year. He has the ability to guard all five positions on the floor as well as play all five positions on the offensive end. Forward Isaiah Ryan (6-6, Sr) will work to be problematic for the opposing offense. His height should give him an advantage. Other players to watch are Zayden Marshall (So) and Dane Johnson (Sr). Marshall is a sophomore that looks to possibly take the reins at point guard. The Mustangs will have to have a new face running the offense, 2020 senior Konner Davis has been in that position the past four years. Entering his senior season, Johnson (Sr) is the glue guy. He is a player that holds everything together He may not fill up the state sheet, but he is a great teammate. SOMETHING TO WATCH - The last five seasons ended in Regionals for the Mustangs. This year’s squad will try to get over the hurdle.
