These are the top seven players in the Bartlesville area hub, ranked by VYPE editors regardless of position.

#1 Bryce Drummond – QB – Senior – Pawhuska Huskies Drummond (6-4, 220, Sr.) has committed to the University of North Texas. Last season he threw for 3,426 yards and 36 touchdowns. He also rushed for 870 yards on 150 carries with 25 touchdowns.

#2 Braeden Winters – TE/LB – Senior – Bartlesville Bruins Winters accounted for 123 tackles on defense from his linebacker spot and is expected to make significant contributions as a tight end on offense.

#3 Caden Davis – WR/DB – Senior – Bartlesville Bruins Davis (5-11, 170, Sr.) is a dynamic receiver the Bruins will look to for big catches this season. Last year Davis accounted for 659 yards receiving scoring 10 touchdowns.

#4 Josh Weber – WR/DB – Senior – Barnsdall Panthers Weber (6-3, 170, Sr.) starts at quarterback for the Panthers. Weber had 26 receptions for 535 yards as a wide receiver last season.

#5 Mason Siegel – QB/S – Senior – Oklahoma Union Cougars Siegel (6-0, 190, Sr.) starts at quarterback where he threw for 1,144 yards on 60 completions with 14 touchdowns. Siegel also added 613 yards on the ground averaging 6.4 yards per carry, scoring 11 touchdowns.

#6 Zak Wallis – QB – Sophomore – Caney Valley Trojans Wallis (5-6, 150, So.) is back at QB after a freshman season throwing for 1,100 passing yards with 900 rushing yards. Wallis also scored 10 touchdowns in the air and three on the ground.

#7 Shane Brown – QB/LB – Senior – Hominy Bucks Quarterback Shane Brown (6-2, 180, Sr.) threw for 1,023 yards, 12 touchdown passes, and a 62 percent completion rate.

Based on fan voting in the Bartlesville area hub, here are the top players at seven positions, as well as some runner-ups who are worth a mention.



QB – Paxton Bradford – Bartlesville - (6-0, 190, Sr.) will give the secondary experience and good football sense in the backfield.

RB – Brayden Humphries – Nowata - (5-7, 145, Jr.) is a nice change of pace and a back that can turn up the heat in the open field.

WR/TE – Baylor Nash – Oklahoma Union - (6-2, 165, Jr.) was a big part of the offense last season catching 25 balls for 492 yards and eight touchdowns.

OL – Dylon Huber – Caney Valley - Huber will help anchor the O-line.



LB – Wyatt Kuehler – Nowata - (5- 10, 185, Jr.) runs well to the ball and plays a physical style the Ironmen faithful love to see.

DB – Cody Starr – Pawhuska - (6-0, 160, Sr.) is versatile enough to play corner or safety. Starr made 66 tackles last season.

DL – Trace Wells – Barnsdall - (6-1, 240, Sr.) is a powerful defensive lineman who grabbed four sacks and 26 tackles as a junior.



WR/TE – Mason Gilkey – Pawhuska - (6-4, 180, Jr.) is a mismatch for most Class A corners. Last year Gilkey had 636 yards on 24 receptions with eight touchdowns.

LB – Jaydin Allen – Caney Valley - (6- 1, 205, So.) logged 10 pancake blocks last year.

LB – Jack Long – Pawhuska - (6-3, 215, Jr.) has started every game of his high school career. Long had 146 tackles and 18 sacks last year.

DB – Hayden Wingo – Caney Valley - (6-2, 190, Sr.) made 25 receptions for 725 yards and five scores.

DL – Seth Gilbreath – Caney Valley - (6-1, 150, Sr.) is a force at defensive end where he made 50 tackles, seven sacks and three knockdowns in 2019.

DL – Jake Lanzisera – Nowata - (5-7, 185, Sr.) is a defensive stalwart for the Ironmen.
