Oklahoma Union High School is about to graduate one of their favorite sons in Jace Gilmore. Gilmore is a three-sport athlete playing baseball, basketball and football.

“I have played baseball for four years, basketball for nine years and football for six years,” said Gilmore. “In baseball I play first base, basketball I play small forward and power forward, football I’m a linebacker on defense and running back, quarterback, tight end and wide receiver on offense.”

Gilmore said his time at Oklahoma Union has been great thanks to his friends and his teachers.

“All the teachers are like family and you get close to so many people,” said Gilmore. “Art is my favorite subject and Levi Robbins is my favorite teacher.”

Being a senior, Gilmore is ready to graduate under the circumstances, but being around his teammates is something he will miss.

“What I love most about my team and teammates is how we are all very close and have a lot of fun together,” said Gilmore.

Gilmore plans on taking some time after graduation to determine what’s next. But he knows he can count on family and friends for whatever comes around.

“I’m just gonna do you whatever comes along,” said Gilmore. “The people in my life outside of school mean the world to me. Family and friends are what’s most important to me.”
