Head coach Zac Ross wants his team to be more physical at the point of attack and let his offensive line set the tone. Cade Lofland (6-0, 250, Sr.) and Gage Hollingshead (5- 8, 245, Sr.) will start at tackle and guard respectively. “We have been working really hard to make sure next year we are a more physical football team on both sides of the ball,” said coach Ross. Ethan McLaughlin (5-10, 165, Sr.) returns at quarterback giving the Bears a run/pass threat. Talon Powers (6-4, 180, Sr.) is a big target in the passing game for McLaughlin as the offense looks to run a multiple spread set to keep teams guessing.

Casey Chasteen (5-9, 215, Sr.) and Collin Eullit (6-1, 220, Sr.) have the ability to control the outside from their defensive end spots. If Chasteen and Eullit can get up field and force everything inside the Bears will look for Hunter Smith (6-0, 190, Jr.) at linebacker and Lofland at tackle to make plays inside the numbers. Daxter Baker (5- 9, 160, Jr.) has the job of run support and pass coverage from his strong safety position while Powers will shore up the secondary at corner. “We will be very young at some positions and it is going to be exciting to see these young kids grow and hopefully they grow up fast. We are excited to move down into Class A and I think it will be very positive for our kids,” said coach Ross.
