Locust Grove’s Brandon Adama - Spotlight Presented By Pirates Git-N-Split
Locust Grove High School football player Brandon Adama is a two-way starter for the Pirates at right tackle and nose guard. Adama is described as a person who is the first one to step up and help when someone is in need. He is always willing to go above and beyond for his coaches as well as his community.
“My favorite part of Locust Grove is the family atmosphere. I really like how everyone knows everyone and no one gets left out,” said Adama.
Being a role model for the younger student-athletes is something Adama strives to achieve. Adama said what he enjoys most about it is, “showing younger players what it takes to move on to the next level.”
As a student-athlete, Adama believes the role of the upperclassmen is to set an example for the younger students. Leaving a legacy for the students who come after his class is a goal for Adama and his teammates.
“To me the most important part of being a student athlete is setting an example in the classroom for younger players,” said Adama.
Future plans for the senior include more football at the next level and working towards his career goal of becoming a patrol officer.
“After high school I plan to play college football and pursue a degree in criminal justice. Then become lake patrol officer for GRDA,” said Adama.
At home, Adama said there is someone in his life who has showed him what it means to chase your dreams and never give up.
“My mom is my role model because she never gave up on her dreams and always pushes me to pursue mine,” said Adama.
