Riley Jensen is a member of the Pryor varsity soccer team and a graduating senior this spring. Jensen loves to compete for the Tigers and she loves her teammates. “I love how energetic my teammates are and how they always keep me on my toes. I also love how our team treats each other like a family,” said Jensen.

As a member of the soccer team, Jensen was able to represent her school and the community at events around the state, but she also did the same in band. “One of my favorite memories of this school year was getting first place percussion in the Oologah marching contest,” said Jensen.

In the classroom, Jensen focused on her grades and pushed herself to be the best student-athlete she could be. Along the way she found which subject she really enjoyed and which teacher she was her favorite. “My favorite subject this year was science because of my fun and entertaining anatomy class with Mr. Holleyman,” said Jensen.

After graduation Jensen is looking forward to going to Rogers State in Claremore before moving on to a larger school and pursuing her career of choice. “I’m going to RSU then transferring to OSU to major in Pre Chiropractic studies and then going to a chiropractic school to become licensed,” said Jensen.

In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, painting, doing cross-fit and going to the lake.

Jensen had one more parting shot for her team as the final page turns on a great high school career. “I would like to shout out to my head coach, Kirk Emerine, and all my teammates from the past four years for being not only my teammates, but also my best friends,” said Jensen.
